| In this position, the individual will be part of the NPI (New Product Introduction) team responsible for the operational side of New Product Development activity for Solid State Drives (Mass storage solutions for mobile, ultra mobile, tablet and other CE devices requiring dedicated storage solutions), from the concept phase through the development and qualification phases, through production until EOL (End of Life). As the program manager, the individual will be responsible for the coordination of production, prototype builds, and material delivery. This individual will also have the ability to initiate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact with many different groups and levels of people, both internally and externally. The individual must have a commitment to do everything possible to ensure the team's success as well as the flexibility to quickly re-direct efforts based on new information. The individual will need to take ownership of the coordination of new product development schedules, production plans, BOM (Agile PLC) and ERP (SAP) activity and inventory management and depletion. This position requires a MS/MBA/MA degree or equivalent with 15 or more years of related experience and 10 or more years of direct management experience. This individual must have experience and possess the ability to manage a team, budgets, and develop processes and procedures related to New Product Introduction. The ideal individual must have comprehensive skills using production ERP systems, strong organizational skills, and experience working in an ISO 9000 quality system, familiarity with OEM Supply Chain Management, and a proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required while experience working with subcontractors and familiarity with large OEMs packaging & fulfillment, manufacturing, software/firmware releases, and data storage peripherals is desired.
