Job Description:
The Director, Bangalore Service Delivery will lead a team of 10 – 12 resources in Bangalore, India that are responsible for delivering customer-centric initiatives.
Should be able to do comprehensive database/corridor transaction data and pricing/consumer acquisition
The primary role of this individual will be to coordinate with headquarters leadership and team members to ensure consistency and quality of output from the Bangalore team. The director will be responsible for developing the processes and tools for the Bangalore team under the guidance of the headquarters leadership to ensure efficient and effective service delivery in providing the organization with the insights into consumer behavior, market dynamics and competitive actions that will be the basis for customer-driven growth initiatives and strategic decision making across multiple service categories and brands. This person will lead and prioritize cross-functional team activities, as well as coach and develop Bangalore team members.
This person will need to apply analytical rigor to complex business issues and translates customer insights into financially viable near term initiatives. This person must be experienced in identifying and analyzing customer/market opportunities, pragmatic program development, backed by robust business plans and seeing through an idea from conception to test to final rollout. This person will be responsible to synthesizes disparate information into pragmatic insights, and translates insights into action, as well as designing and executing pilot programs to empirically test new business concepts in coordination with the headquarters team.
Unique Qualifications / Skill Sets:
· Identify, size and prioritize business opportunities for improvement through analytics
· Leverage state-of-the-art data mining tools, modeling techniques and analytic frameworks
· Keep abreast of analytics `best practices' from a wide range of industries
· Reengineer existing processes as necessary to incorporate new and improved analytic frameworks
· Execute projects within aggressive timelines
Candidate Requirements:
· MBA or advanced degree preferred
· 8-10 years related experience in management consulting, strategic planning or business intelligence related fields
· Excellent technical and analytical skills - proficiency in analytic techniques extensively applied across industries
· Big picture thinker – business orientation, P&L / portfolio mentality
· Ability to succeed in a matrix environment and influence adoption of new thinking
· Experience managing analytics resources is a must
· Ability to clearly communicate, persuade and influence a wide group of people, including Senior Management across multiple geographies
· Highly ambitious – seeks accountability in a challenging business environment and thrives on success in the marketplace through innovative problem solving
