Our Client, a leading consulting firm is seeking Manager – Customs (Indirect Tax).

Position: Manager – M & A(IT / BPO sector)

Company: A leading Consulting firm

Location: Mumbai

Experience required: 6 - 7 years of total post qualification experience in a corporate finance firm/ PE fund that looks at IT/ BPO sector or M&A team of a large IT/ BPO company

Qualifications: CA / MBA from a reputed B-School

Responsibilities:

Oversee the execution and develop the M&A practice. Work effectively with Partner/Director on critical client issues along with his team in lead advisory space. Some of the main priorities of this role will be:
•Presenting innovative marketing ideas.
•Look for potential buyers/ sellers.
•Assisting in deal negotiations and helping in the deal get through and managing the project.
•Understand the client and his needs.
•Assess the business based on the results of financial, tax and legal and in some cases commercial and environmental due diligence carried. Do financial modeling and valuations.
•Preparing information memorandum, creating pitch books and drafting non binding offer.
•Developing the ability to identify newer opportunities within the existing clients.
•Should be diligent regarding: Billing cycles and collections.
•Effectively addressing low management issues.

Skills/ Knowledge required:
•Must have at least 4 -5 years of lead advisory experience in IT/ BPO space would be needed.
•Should have worked on numerous deals for IT/ BPO sector.
•Must have experience in business development, identifying likely buyers and sellers.
•Good understanding and interpretation skills on tax and regulatory issues like FEMA, Company law, SEBI guidelines.
•Ability to analyze economic models/ business plans, valuations, financial advisory, structuring.
•Good experience in pitching and making presentations.
•Good experience of financial analysis, financial modeling (using different techniques), due diligence, valuations is required.
•Should have strong market network.

•Good communication skills: verbal and written.
•Strong analytical and business development skills.
•Good flow and thought process.
•Good project management and time management skills.
