Global defense/logistics organization with operations throughout the world is looking for a dynamic leader to help establish a new location in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The incumbent will provide strategic direction, leadership and execution of profitable business development programs throughout the Middle East with a focus on heavy ground military vehicles.

Responsibilities:

* drive the successful start-up of the Kuwait City facility
* profitable execution of existing upgrade programs to fleet of heavy ground military vehicles
* incremental growth of business in the region
* access to regional key decision makers
* high customer satisfaction ratings for work performed or services by the Kuwait facility
* establish and maintain high employee morale

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and a MBA are preferred
* Certified DAWIA Acquisition Professional is desired
* Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Foreign Military sales
* a SECRET security clearance is a plus; willingness to apply for security clearance is a must
* Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the military vehicle field
* Experience working with FMS executing agencies, embassies and international military officials
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate objectives, develop strategies and communicate them effectively across the organization
* Keen knowledge of the engineering and manufacture of military vehicles is high desired
* Ability to speak Arabic

Ideal Candidate will be a US Citizen or US Green Card holder and currently have or be able to quickly obtain a SECRET security clearance and MBA with DAWIA certification with the ability to speak Arabic.
