Responsibilities
This Business Development role entails a diverse set of activities such as:
Execution of business development deals. This is a major area of responsibility and involves acting as the deal lead for licensing and content deals
Managing the day-to-day performance of our key channel partners for the Zvents Media Platform with a focus on growing distribution in both newspaper, new media and mobile verticals
Working with the Premium Listings Ad Sales team to drive adoption of Paid Listings across the distribution network and provide significant ROI for partners
Engaging Marketing and Partner Support to enhance network communication and identify growth opportunities
Minimum 1-3 years out of a leading MBA program or equivalent work experience in a technology environment.
Skills Responsibilities
Experience and education:
Demonstrated success in business development, strategic and/or channel sales, product management, or strategy/corporate development at a leading high-tech company. Management consulting, technology-focused private equity, or investment banking professionals may also apply
Technical undergrad degree and/or demonstrated ability to understand technical products and markets.
Track record of exceptional performance in current and past roles.
Minimum 1-3 years out of a leading MBA program or equivalent work experience in a technology environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
o Clear, crisp communicator with strong collaboration skills and a track record of working with executives.
o Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Creative entrepreneur, proactive, gets things done and has fun doing it!
