PHD Studentship
Department of International Politics

Applications are invited for one PhD Studentship. The award will run for three years from September 2008 (subject to satisfactory progress). The studentship will comprise a maintenance grant of £13 500 (under review), plus tuition fees. The holder of the studentship will be expected to teach a maximum of five hours per week in term time, at the direction of the Head of Department, for which training and support will be available.

We particularly welcome applications in the areas of: global finance, transnational social movements, religion in global politics, development and international relations, global health and disease, conflict and security, institutions and global governance, and forced migration. Applicants should normally have obtained, or be about to obtain a relevant Master's degree at merit or distinction level.
